Barracuda Restaurant & Barracuda Bar
Barracuda Restaurant was a hit from the start. And how could it not be, with an enthusiastic family running the place together? Their love and passion for their work are evident, and the food at Barracuda (a seafood restaurant) is simply fantastic. So, it made perfect sense to expand the team (and family). They did so with the opening of Barracuda Bar Amsterdam, just down the street.

Foer
Have you ever heard of the term ‘foraging’? A biological term used to describe the regular search for food by animals. In this case, let the animals be people, and let the team at Foer surprise you with unique ingredients and flavours in their ever-changing menu. Nature’s abundance is central, and the menu is constantly evolving. At Foer, you can enjoy a 5-course meal for € 60 and a 7-course meal for € 69.

Nela
If you’re in the mood for a night out with international flair, you’ll want (no, you must!) to visit Nela Amsterdam. At Restaurant Nela, you can enjoy a long evening of dining with a table full of divine sharing dishes, excellent wines, and great co*cktails. It’s a place where you’ll want to dress up a bit, with plenty of parking available thanks to its location in the Zuidas.

De Japanner Strandeiland and De Japanner Zuid
Next to De Japanner Strandeiland (at Strand Blijburg) and the well-known locations in Oud-West and De Pijp, De Japanner Amsterdam-Zuid recently opened its doors. And this place is unlike anything else: not only can you enjoy delicious Japanese lunch and dinner (De Japanner is one of our favourite Japanese restaurants in Amsterdam), but you can also hold meetings, hire spaces for private dining and sing your heart out (excuse me, I mean, sing) during karaoke. A versatile spot, offering something for everyone.

Wils and Wils Bakery Café
It seems that everything Chef Joris Bijdendijk* touches turns to gold. In no time, Wils Amsterdam became so popular that it was the talk of the town. And it still is because once someone has dined here and tasted the oysters doused in beef fat (heated in a special funnel over an open fire), they immediately want to book again. After some time, Joris also opened Wils Bakery Café, an all-day dining hotspot like France’s, with delicious sourdough bread baked in-house.

Buiten | Strandcafe & Restaurant
Buiten is a super cool city beach in Amsterdam West. Hotel Buiten Amsterdam is really the place to be when the sun shines. It’s a city beach without sand but plenty of water. Hotel Buiten is located next to the Sloterplas. So it’s also perfect if you want to step out of the sun for a bit and enjoy a cold drink in the shade.

Lowlander Restaurant
The founders of Botanical Bar & Restaurant from Amsterdam’s beer brand Lowlander set out to create a ‘botanical heaven’ that aligns with their ever-popular drinks. At the new Lowlander Botanical Bar & Restaurant in Amsterdam-Noord, everything revolves around what nature offers. Think herbs, plants, vegetables, and fruit, but the interior is all about natural elements. In short, it’s the hotspot in Amsterdam-Noord, even if only for the fantastic terrace and ample parking.

Cafe Restaurant Amsterdam
Whether you’re in the mood for a good steak tartare, a plate of fruits de mer, or a burger… Cafe Restaurant Amsterdam is a classic that you’ll always return to. You can park near the restaurant in the car park at Van Bleiswijkstraat.

De Ysbreeker
If, like me, you live near De Ysbreeker, it’s quite annoying when you have to park your car ‘all the way’ at the HvA site… However, if you’re going out for a meal with a group, this car park at Mauritsstraat is a great find! At De Ysbreeker, you can enjoy classic brasserie dishes at a reasonable price.
